From Lebanon to London to Lisbon, this international couple’s friends and families celebrated together on a gorgeous summer day in Lisbon at one of Portugal’s most well kept secrets, Palacio dos Marqueses da Fronteira. Nancy and Daniel’s wedding was set in an Italian-inspired formal garden, surrounded by the iconic blue and white azulejos representing various arts and mythological figures. I didn’t know this but apparently the garden hedges are cut in such a way that they represent the four seasons. How cool is that! A true fairytale location, just on the edge of Lisbon. And they certainly knew how to celebrate - after their ceremony the couple greeted guests on the garden steps with a fun Portuguese marching band and cake cutting ceremony so everyone could appreciate the cake in the beginning of the party. My kind of people!
Every cake tells a story, and this is the story of Nancy and Daniel:
