Persian weddings are so beautiful, the level of detail is astounding. I was mesmerised by the Aghd - so many colors, textures and scents to take in. Endless bowls filled with herbs, pastries, breads, nuts, fruit, coins, candles and more, it was a spectacular scene.
Pegah and Zach’s wedding was a balance of classic, worldly elegance with seemingly effortless modern chic. Their vision included a dinner party style farm-to-table setup with a casual yet elegant feel.
Their blush and white wedding cake was a raspberry sponge cake with white chocolate swiss meringue buttercream. Design components included architectural fondant detail on the bottom tier, contemporary “torn” wafer paper texture on tiers, white fondant bas-relief leaves and a cascade of sugar flowers.
Every cake tells a story, and this is the story of Pegah and Zach:
